School Bus Tracking Application

Utopia International School is the learning home for a very special community of students, educators, administrators, and management.

Utopia's top priority is the safety and overall well being of all their students with an emphasis on holistic learning as they enable them to discover their skills and passions.

THE challenge

Utopia wanted an app that allowed parents to track their children's live location during their bus rides to and from school.

Given that parent's usually have busy schedules, ease of access and quick actions were crucial.

The high level goals were to:
• Allow parents to live track their children's journey. That includes ETAs, Stops and more.

• Allow bus attendants and parents to easily communicate via text or calls.
‍
• Allow bus attendants to alert parents of any major events that may occur during the journey. This includes accidents, breakdowns and heavy traffic updates.

I generated a large quantity of ideas that were then filtered and cut down into the best and most practical ones.
